Domestic
We carry out all types of works on domestic installations and are Part P registered, this means that the work carried out will be fully compliant and certified to current BS7671 2008 regulations.
Prices for domestic works can generally be obtained by one of our management team coming for a home visit to evaluate the amount of works to be done; this is a free procedure to ensure we can see first hand the extent of works that you wish us to undertake. Testing & Inspection
Due to changes in legislation within the building industry, insurance companies and the buy to let market there is a requirement for testing and inspecting of installations on a more regular basis,
The Regulations recommend domestic installations (PRIVATE) should be tested at a MAXIMUM time period of 10 years. With the new regulation changes of BS7671 2008 it is now part of the regulations that periodic inspection & test of a fixed wiring installation be carried out at routine intervals. Depending on the condition, use and age of the installation the engineer will recommend a maximum safe time period between inspections thereafter.
